The BiSE teaching lab's seminar room C252 provides modern media technology and flexible equipment. Both teacher training as well as teaching lab courses take place here. The room can also be used for other media and teaching projects.

Room use and reservations
The teaching lab (seminar room C 252) provides students with an excellent location for practising and reflecting on their teaching skills. They can try out different teaching formats and simulations as well as engage in professional analysis and reflection. Thanks to its technical equipment, the room is also particularly suitable for digitally enhanced teaching/learning scenarios and courses with a focus on the use of digital media.
To book the room or implement a media or teaching project in the field of teaching and teacher training, please email unterrichtslabor@uni-konstanz.de.
If you wish to regularly use the room, please email us your preferred day and time slot; for the summer semester by 30 November, and for the winter semester by 15 June.
Room details
Capacity
Generally, the room is set up for a maximum of 21 seminar participants. If you need other seating arrangements, the room can be adapted to your requirements at short notice or, after consultation with the teaching lab team, for the long term.
Furniture and equipment
The room is equipped with triangular tables that can easily be moved, mobile cabinets, acoustic screens, magnetic boards and additional round stools to support creative work. Usually, the room is divided into two areas: The plenary area (U-shaped seating) and the group work area (group tables) in the back. This furnishing is perfect for innovative teaching/learning formats without having to rearrange the furniture.
3D virtual reality station
The teaching lab is equipped with a fully-fledged HTC VIVE Cosmos virtual reality station for innovative teacher training. You can use it for immersive 3D teaching simulations, interactive teleconferences, presentations and much more.

If teaching staff needs additional equipment, they can borrow the following for temporary projects:
- Class set of tablets (Lenovo Yoga Tab)

Advice on using digital media in the classroom
- For teaching staff
Our team will gladly advise you on integrating digital media in teaching and learning, for example, to enable digitally supported collaboration in courses, use surveys and quizzes or to implement hybrid teaching formats. You can make an appointment by emailing unterrichtslabor@uni-konstanz.de.

Would you like to utilize digital media in your classes to make teaching more interactive, individualized or more collaborative? Our team will be happy to advise you on various aspects of using digital media in the classroom. The next dates on which students can view the teaching lab are: 14 Nov. 2024 and 16 Jan. 2025 from 8:15 - 9:45.

Rapidmooc Go
With Rapidmooc Go, you can record professional video screencasts with teleprompter support and green screen technology.
This mini studio can be set up in the teaching lab on request. Our team supports you in recording your video screencast. You will receive the finished films on a USB stick or as a cloud file. Communications and Marketing has compiled detailed instructions on how to prepare and record a screencast.
